This mentorship and consulting program is designed exclusively for licensed veterinarians who are either:
- Current students of CHI University, or
- Graduates of CHI University’s TCVM programs
The goal of this mentorship is to support clinical confidence, deepen understanding of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, and offer business and philosophical support for integrating holistic modalities into everyday practice.

What I Offer:
- Shadowing days at the current practice with DR North (one day a month). This will include discussions about TCVM diagnosis, teaching tongue and pulse as well as point location, needling techniques, and more.
- Access to templates for practice paperwork including terms and conditions, etc.
- Email access to discuss cases with Dr North up to 1 a week
- Zoom meeting to discuss up to one case a month with Dr North
- Email templates for software system – SOAP templates, reminder emails/ texts, initial new client response email templates.
- Advice on website content, access to pre pre-made template for website information, photos if interested.
Mentorship Tiers
1-MONTH VIRTUAL MENTORSHIP
Ideal for those wanting short-term support and direction in their TCVM studies or practice.
Includes:
- One (1) 60-minute video session
- One (1) 45-minute follow-up video session
- Up to three (3) patient cases discussed
- Website content reuse permission
- Editable practice document kit
Investment:
To be determined. Will include both a one-time payment option (with possible discount) and
monthly billing.
3-MONTH VIRTUAL MENTORSHIP
A hybrid virtual/in-person option designed for deeper mentorship, clinical observation, and case strategy development.
Includes:
- One (1) initial session (choose one):
– One full in-person shadow day in Nashville, TN, or
– One 60-minute Zoom session - Up to six (6) mentorship days across 3 months:
– Preferred: On-site observation every other week
– Optional substitution: 60-minute Zoom sessions - Observation of Dr. Neely North’s holistic patient care in a clinical setting
- Up to ten (10) patient cases discussed
- Email and Voxer support during business hours
- Website content reuse permission
- Practice document kit mentee can edit as they prefer
- If in process of getting CVA, Dr North wil reivew case report and give pointers in that directoin
On-Site Participation Details:
- Clinical observation is scheduled M–Th, typically 9:30 AM–5:00 PM CT
- Mentees may not needle patients unless explicitly permitted
- Mentees may not engage in direct client interaction
– Please save questions for in-between visits or the end of the day
Scheduling Note:
Dr. Neely North splits her time between Nashville, TN and Savannah, GA. Currently, all inperson mentorship occurs in Nashville.
- If scheduling conflicts arise, the mentorship may be extended slightly to ensure you receive the full 3 in-person days if desired
- Dr. Neely is typically available in Nashville at least once per month
Travel & Lodging Options:
- For mentees traveling from a distance, there may be an option to stay at Dr. Neely North’s personal residence in Nashville during your in-person mentorship days. This is not guaranteed and will be offered at Dr. North’s discretion based on availability.
- Alternatively, mentees may choose to secure their own accommodations.
- Mentees who live far away may opt to complete their shadow days in 3 consecutive days, rather than traveling to Nashville three separate times.

Mentor Credentials
Dr. Neely North is a master’s candidate in TCVM at CHI University and holds certifications in multiple TCVM branches:
• CVA – Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist
• Certified Veterinary Herbalist – All herbal modules completed
• Certified Veterinary Food Therapist
• Tui-Na Practitioner – Final certification pending; actively practicing
• CVMMP – Certified in Veterinary Medical Manipulation (not a mentorship focus)
• Current TA for CVA program lab sessions at Chi University
Note: Mentorship will center on TCVM. CVMMP techniques may be discussed or observed, but not formally taught.

Website Content Reuse
Mentees may reuse any educational language from Dr. Neely North’s website, with appropriate edits for personal use.
You may:

• Use non-identifiable photos (e.g., hands, clinic tools)
You may not:
• Use identifying photos of Dr. Neely North or her family
• Misrepresent certification credentials

Communication & Feedback
• Email and Voxer communication is available M–Th, 8 AM–5 PM CT
• Voxer replies will be thoughtful and scheduled, not rushed
• Responses will be provided within 24 business hours
Feedback Loop:
Mentees will be invited to submit feedback during the mentorship through informal check-ins and surveys. This ensures the experience remains responsive, respectful, and customized to your learning style. All concerns will be taken seriously and handled confidentially.
MUTUAL EXPECTATIONS
What’s Expected of the Mentee:
• Be on time for sessions and shadow days
• Submit materials (e.g., tongue photos or videos of a patient being discussed) 24 hours in advance
• Respect mentor time and patient privacy
• Limit direct interaction with clients while shadowing
• Bring questions to discuss during dedicated time slots
